My name is Tobias Sjöström and I am 23 years old. I'm from a small society called Sorsele, it's located in the north part of Sweden in the Swedish Laplands.
I was raised in a good area with the forest just around the corner and a rollcast away to the national river where everything started, the Vindelriver.
When I was around 4 years old, my grandfather took me out fishing for the first time. We mostly fished for grayling, but we also fished for many other species like pike, perch, browntrout etc.
At the same time he also taught me about the food chain, like how the bigger fish eats the smaller fish to survive and the smaller fish eats insects to survive. Where the fish are and where they hide and can feel protected etc etc. Already at that point he got me hooked! And I realized and knew that this was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life! My interests only increases the older I become, so in 2011 I graduated as a Fishing guide at Tornedalens FHSK.
It's more than just a hobby to me, it's like a religion.
TIGHT LINES!!
